“I love immersing myself in a new and different culture, whether that’s a foreign country or a new study institution. I really enjoy learning about new ideas and interactions, both societal and cultural. As a graduate in geography.

I have a detailed understanding of world-geography, which I can use in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry to help enterprises and others to fulfil the customers’ needs.  This also involves analysing and interacting with large quantities of complex data with its practical applications in a way that would otherwise be impossible.

In the last decade the World Wide Web has taken over lots of front-desk activities in the hospitality and tourism industry. There was an essential need to match this industry with new and emerging technology — well done by the recent practitioners, really. It’s the perfect time for a field like e-marketing to make an impact and enable us to make sense of all these.

The one thing that I love doing and would never get tired of is travelling, so I applied for Hospitality and Tourism! I do encourage you to follow your heart and choose to study something that you really love. I found there was a significant transition from doing tours to college work for PGD.

Eespecially as I had taken a gap year to do a Health course at the University of Aberdeen and gain work experience in a school. At the same time I met with tourists in the heart of the Himalayas which is the world’s most famous tourist spot.  It gives me all the support that I need, and ensures that I always stay on the right track, as well as engaging in a deep discussion of ideas. Hospitality and tourism is a sector where I can meet people, make friends and connections, use my interest and creativity and above all it is the field where I can develop my career.Students here do cover a very wide range of texts, and are expected to do a lot of independent work. This introduces you to many tourism issues and themes, from historical approaches to modern methods.
